How much does an online consultation cost?
Consultations start at €30 and vary by specialty (up to around €70). The price is always shown before you confirm the booking, with no surprises. Employees of partner companies may get a discount or full coverage.
How long does a consultation last?
It depends on the type: scheduled consultations last around 30 minutes, urgent ones about 15, and mental health sessions between 50 and 60 minutes. Prescription renewals and certificates are shorter. The duration is always shown when you book.
What can I resolve by video consultation?
Most non-urgent situations: prescription renewals, stable symptoms (flu, sore throat, mild dermatology), medical certificates, second opinions, follow-up of chronic conditions, and questions about medication or test results. In life-threatening situations, such as chest pain, sudden shortness of breath or a suspected stroke, call 112 or go to A&E.
Can I receive prescriptions, certificates or test requests?
Yes. The doctor can issue prescriptions (with PEM codes), medical certificates and declarations, and test requests (MCDT), whenever clinically justified. The decision to issue rests with the doctor, based on the consultation. Documents are available in your personal area.
Is the video consultation recorded?
No. The call is streamed in real time and encrypted by the technical provider. We don't store audio, video or transcripts; the only record kept is the clinical notes written by the doctor.
How does payment work and is it secure?
We accept MB WAY, Multibanco and bank card, processed securely by Easypay. The consultation is only confirmed after payment, and your card details are handled by Easypay, never reaching our servers.
What if I need to cancel? Do I get a refund?
You can cancel from your patient area. With 48 hours' notice or more, the refund is automatic and full; with less than 48 hours, the consultation isn't refundable, but the slot is released. In exceptional cases, such as the doctor being unavailable, our team can authorise a refund.
