The Endocrinology consultation is for adults with diabetes, thyroid conditions, or other hormonal and metabolic disorders, whether to follow up on a known diagnosis or to make sense of abnormal hormone tests. It suits both people already under care who need to review their medication and those seeking a structured assessment of complaints such as persistent fatigue, weight changes, or signs suggestive of a hormonal imbalance.

During the appointment, the doctor reviews your medical history, test results, and any records you bring (blood glucose, weight, blood pressure), assesses how you are responding to your current treatment, and adjusts it when needed. They may order new tests or exams, issue prescriptions, and set a follow-up plan with clear targets.

A video consultation works well for follow-up and interpreting results, but it does not replace an in-person physical examination or procedures such as thyroid palpation, ultrasound, or blood collection, which must be done elsewhere. When the assessment requires direct examination or the situation suggests acute decompensation, the doctor will say so and refer you to an in-person visit or the appropriate service.
